Legal status
Swift Salamander is operated by Maciej Raciborski as a private individual. There is no company entity behind it. The site is not currently registered as a Swiss legal entity (e.g. Einzelunternehmen in the commercial register); should revenue or other thresholds make registration appropriate, this page will be updated with the corresponding details (UID number, register extract, registered office).
Sales & commercial activity
Pro licences for the Swift Salamander macOS application are sold via Polar Software Inc. ("Polar"), acting as Merchant of Record. Polar is the legal seller of record for the transaction, handles billing and payment processing, collects and remits applicable taxes, issues invoices, and manages refunds and chargebacks. The operator of this site receives net payouts from Polar for licences sold; the operator does not process card data and is not the contractual seller of record.
